Meet Alessandro

I'm Alessandro, a recent graduate of Brooklyn Tech High School, where I majored in Law and Society. This fall, I'll be heading to Brown University to study economics and political science. I'm passionate about helping students understand course material and prepare for exams in ways that are accessible yet thorough. I've been working with students on SHSAT, SAT, and Regents test prep, as well as general tutoring and homework help in math, statistics, and history.

Growing up, I worked with a number of tutors, all of whom helped me reach my potential. I've learned from those experiences and apply their lessons to my own teaching and tutoring.

Through 50+ hours of tutoring across different ages and levels, I've honed my ability to tailor my approach to every student. With 25+ hours of coaching and tutoring for Schoolhouse World, the premier free SAT tutoring organization, I specialize in helping students prepare for standardized tests—teaching the same skills that earned me a 1540 on the SAT.

I work with students from 6th to 12th grade, online and in person. I provide personalized tutoring that meets each student where they are, ensuring a comfortable, productive, and engaging environment.
